Meet Dr. Matias
Dr. Matias brings 25 years of dental experience to create Vista Orthodontics, having earned his Dentistry Degree in Chile and Orthodontics Specialty Degree in Argentina. He moved to Canada and became a licensed dentist in 2012, he dedicated himself to serving in the Downtown East Side and sharing his expertise as an instructor for UBC’s Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Matias has also lectured internationally.
In search of excellence Dr. Matias completed the Orthodontic Specialty Program at UBC, earning a Masters Degree and Diploma Degree to become a Certified Specialist in Canada. Later he achieved a Board Certification at the American Board of Orthodontics, first specialty board in dentistry founded in 1929, earned through a voluntary, multi-phase examination process. Dr. Matias is also an affiliated member of the prestigious Angle Study Club (Northwestern Component) committed to lifelong learning and elevating standards of Orthodontics care.
Dr. Matias based his practice in East Vancouver for having personal and professional ties to the East Side Community over the years. He centered his practice on high standards, personalized and friendly care. Dr. Matias welcomes you to Vista Orthodontics.
